At 5 1/2 months he has reached the age/size that perfect strangers feel comfortable critiquing my parenting skills.
Highlights of the past three days include (my internal response is in parenthesis):
- Where's his hat? (In my hand since his brother keeps on taking it off)
- Why isn't he wearing shoes? (He has socks on, but no shoes since he can't even sit up on his own, much less walk)
- The sun is in his eyes! (No, it's not)
- He's hungry, you should feed him. (He just ate)
- He's too hot! (He's fine)
- He's too cold! (He's fine!)
And my absolute favorite...
When Lucas was in the double stroller with Rafael...
Are they the same age? (15.5 lbs, 25 inches, and cooing versus 24 lbs, 33 inches, and conversing with everyone in sight, do I really need to answer that?)
